What is Not to Love About Gardening?
Do you have a garden you love? Gardening has been my life for a long time, too! It is satisfying to grow everything your family needs to eat. Your system of being self-sufficient may also include farming. What happens when that self-sufficient lifestyle is lost? Are all the rewards of gardening lost, like I thought it was for me?
I thought I had destroyed this way of life forever in order to find another source of income. It is tough to make a decision to return to traditional employment.
You can successfully use your self-sufficient lifestyle for making money! It never occurred to me to use my love for gardening as an internet income, because I never grew enough produce to sell; everything we grew was preserved for my family. Are you in a similar situation?
Turn your ideas and your garden into making a profit! The fun idea of starting a blogging business to make money online turned successful; and I will show you how I did it!
I wrote down my experiences in a journal, so, when I first learned about a blog, it was a place online that we could share opinions and I did not know if I could trust what I read. But then, I saw a story on the internet that intrigued me to make an income with blogging and that changed my thinking.
Amazing Plan to Earn Money Blogging
A 5-day crash course changed my direction and got my blog up and running. The course I used to set my blog up to start earning money blogging is called: “Start a Blogging Business – 5-Day Crash Course” by It’s a Lovely Life, structured by Heather and Pete Reese.
If I can make that happen, then you can too! Take this course to easily earn income from blogging about gardening, and other hobbies, skills and share knowledge on other subjects. This idea fascinated me! I love to tell stories through videos, pictures, voice recordings, and writings; and since there are many subjects to blog on, I will never get bored.
What do you think about the idea of having a self-sufficient blog?
Would you like to earn an income while enjoying your garden produce and becoming more self-sufficient?
Think about what would it take for you to feel that gardening is able to make money? Are you growing what you eat and want to become more self-sufficient?
Love Gardening, Share Your Knowledge!
I am enthusiastic about gardening; like the feel of the dirt under my feet; get excited about each new seedling that makes its way to life and then becomes part of my food chain. Knowing what goes into my food, developing skills in canning and scavenging wild forms of edible plants that I can add to my growing storehouse of healthy food for my family gives me things to share with others.
There is not a better life and I love the process and results of garden labor. Bringing value to others through my blog, coupled with making money and giving the information I have gathered throughout the years, makes the idea of promoting my garden intriguing.
Make the benefits of growing food profitable and increase the results of your labors. Those thoughts will nag you, like it did me, until you begin this new internet endeavor of turning your ideas into a profitable garden blog. Let me share the shortcuts that I found and that motivation that made the process easier.
All the information I learned on harvesting wild edible plants, the various forms of gardening I used, and why I learned to love gardening is valuable to someone just starting. Listening to other stories enrich my life. You do not have to have all the answers nor have all the garden polished techniques to monetize your gardening blog. Share what you know now and be ready to learn more.
How to Share about Gardening
Sharing my stories on a blog would motivate me to throw all my efforts into gardening, increase my forms of gardening, increase my experimenting, and find new and better ways of growing and preserving the results of my actions.
It would motivate me to quit my full-time job and devote all my efforts to making my hobby grow into a reality for a blogging income and increasing self-sufficiency.
I need to have a reason to continue something, and I believe you do too. Why am I gardening? What justification is there to grow my food?
That justification to continue a self-sufficient lifestyle was discovered when I made the impossible decision to quit gardening; losing all my equipment, having no funds to buy more, there were tools I needed to support gardening.
There was no time to work harder and do it all by hand, all my help and encouragement, and support was lost. Does this sound similar to what you have experienced?
Instead of pushing on, I decided to turn to a form of employment to pay my bills; my employment made my accounts increase, and I became trapped, unable to think of a way to get back to what I was rightly fit to do, nor what I wanted to do. I felt hopeless and lost all my confidence, motivation, and passion.
Do Not Lose Your Lifestyle Independence!
Then I discovered a sure-fire way to begin to hope that I could make my hobby earn money for me through a garden blog income. Becoming a prominent commercial farmer intimidated me, I was not ready for that. Even if I could make it work by using a simple, practical operation and selling my produce, it would be just that, much work. I love working but wanted to enjoy my life work. Owning my own brick-and-mortar business, I would need to keep on top of the process to increase profits and satisfy those I employ. But what about natural disasters and the normal setbacks that I may or may not be able to recover?
What am I talking about then? How can I earn a profitable income from the internet when most of my experiences have been practical and down-to-earth activities?
Questions to Ask When Starting a Blogging Business
Here are some questions to ask yourself before you start planning your direction:
- Do you enjoy taking pictures and showing off your arduous work in your gardening hobby or business?
- Are you interested in giving value to others and increasing your joy from it?
- Would you love to have the time to explore gardening and provide a service to others through your knowledge?
- If you do not know much about gardening, are you willing to learn from others and share your own experiences and perspective so you can provide increased value?
- Is there a ministry or organization that you could support?
- Are you willing to put as much effort into providing value in your blog posts as well as emphasizing making a profit?
- Does business scare you, or does it intrigue you? I have always loved business, but I wanted it to be fun.
- Would you like to be able to start an internet business and leave a legacy for your children or family, or friends to continue?
- What price would you pay for independence? How much is it worth to you to work at what you enjoy?
A Waste of Time Changed to Hope for a Future
I wasted 15 years of my life telling myself that I could no longer be self-sufficient, that I could no longer do what I wanted or needed to do because I was being led around by the policies and ideas of others. If I worked for someone, their policies needed supported. How did that make me feel? I lost my confidence, felt like a failure, and had no support. Feeling trapped with no freedom, I lost hope.
My motivation for working in my garden was to learn more about health. I wanted to see how herbs and whole foods healed and make tinctures and healing salves like I used to. But there was no way I would ever be able to do it unless I had time and possibly a blogging income.
Now I am learning that even with all the work and labor I put into my new adventure, I realize it is going for what would profit and benefit and give value to me. If I have value, then I would be able to provide value to others; I would be able to leave my family a source of income, profit, and freedom through a profitable garden blog.
This is available to you through taking the crash course to Start a Blogging Business! Take advantage of this opportunity so you will not waste time like I did!
Ask More Questions Brings Clearer Direction
I had to ask myself these questions:
- Where is my faith? Do I have enough confidence in myself, in my support system, that I could make a run at this profitable blogging income?
- What if someone else were part of my support system? What if we were able to encourage each other and start a support system together?
- Can I beat the self-destructive way of making a living at what I am honestly not excited about, nor suited to do, and start a new seed for independence, for responsibility, for a new way of life?
You will want to go through the same awakening I struggled through. It will take time; it took me a while to get through the learning part and challenge making money on my blog. But taking this course will shorten that learning curve significantly!
